When: SATURDAY 6/11 at 7PM
At Star Theatres, 145 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton

Australia, winter, 1952, and a group of New Australians, migrants from devastated post-war Europe, awaits release from the limbo of life in an Australian migrant camp.

These include Greeks, Italians and Serbs. Recent rioters have burnt down camp buildings, triggering armoured intervention by the army. Powerless, the migrants wage war against the camp administration, each other and themselves. Based on actual events at Bonegilla, the most famous of all migrant camps.
Tickets $30 Adult, $25 concession. Collect at theatre. Dinner at Hilton Hotel, 264 South Rd, Hilton beforehand at 6 pm.
