When: SAT 22/6
At Arts Theatre, 53 Angas Street, Adelaide
The Adelaide Repertory Theatre presents the Australian premiere of this delightfully black comedy written by Brenton H Whittle, directed for them by Sue Wylie.
The story begins as the leading man, Clarry, “Goes to God” in hospital. It’s all downhill from there. The rellies try to bring him back using their mobile phones. Little do they know that Clarry can hear what they are saying. The plot gets out of hand, the wake is hilarious, a neighbour “drops off the perch”, add a cross dressing son and a warm fuzzy ending. This play has to be seen to be believed.
What reason can you have for not booking? Hope to have your company there.
Ticket price $17 each. Collect at theatre. Dinner at 6 pm, Crown and Sceptre Hotel, 308 King William Street.
