Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter. Set in the Montmartre district of Paris in 1893. The naughty Can-Can dance is performed at the Bal Du Paradis. There is a police raid and the dancers are arrested and charged with 'lewd and lascivious dancing'. The judge falls in love with the owner of the café La Momme Pistache. Full of fun-filled and colourful situations. See the exhilarating performance of the Can-Can at the climax.
